Review: Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream in Shade 08 with Swatches

Today I will Review the Infamous

Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream in shade 08

Miss Claire brand has been making huge noise in Indian market because it is very affordable, nice quality and perfect for people on a budget.

There are variety of Makeup products available like Foundation, Blush, Eyeliner etc

but

Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream has made the most noise as it is a dupe of Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream.

So today I will Review it in Shade 08

It looks like this

Lets get to the Review then....

Packaging

Packaging is cute and Portable.
I say portable because, you can carry it very easily in purses, handbags, makeup-pouches etc
It comes in a Body, which is the colour of that particular shade and a Black cap which opens on rotating it.
The shade number is at the base of the lip cream.
It has an angled applicator, for easy application.

Quality

These are of fairly good quality for its price.
Its fragrance is very very pleasant and I LOVE IT.

It says on the body that "Its not lipstick, nor is it gloss, its nothing like you've ever experienced before" which is so so true!!
Its not firm like a lipstick nor is it watery, glossy like a lip gloss.
It is very smooth in texture but on applying it appears matte without making lips dry or cakey!!
This colour is super pigmented.
It is perfection in a bottle at affordable rate! and you feel AMAZING wearing it on your lips!!

I did not apply it very dark actually. It is appearing more violet here, actually it is corally pink colour as shown in hand - swatches

Staying Power

I conducted three tests on this Lip creams!!

Test 1: Wore it to college, whole day did nothing except drink water(carefully).When came back home and checked it out, it looked JUST like it had in the morning!!

Test 2: Wore it to college again and had an good meal, expected it be completely gone as food was kinda greasy.

Result: Just a little portion of my upper lip was missing lip cream, otherwise it looked just like it was in the morning!!

Test 3: Wore it out, had a meal, ate Ice cream.

Result: Half of the lip creams was gone...well nothing can stand in front of ice cream.

So what can you conclude from the above tests? Beside the fact that I love food?

The Staying power is AMAZING!!

Honestly, after using this product, If I use any lipstick which has poor staying power, I get so frustrated!! Because I have used the best!

Secret Super Power

So we know now why I love this product. But why do I love this Shade the most?
I have pigmented lips, my upper lips are tad bit darker than my lower lips.
I'm always on the look out for Lipsticks that cover up my pigmentation nicely.
Shade 08 does this perfectly. I can have pink lips without my dark lips showing!!
Also, you can tone the colour down for college etc by using less colour, it will still look great!!

This is how it looked when I applied less amount of product to college, darkness of lips is hidden!

PROS

Affordable, best for people on a budget.
Many beautiful colours available
High staying power.
This shade hides lip pigmentation
Gives a soft matte look without drying lips
Can be worn to College also
Handy, can be carried easily

CONS

There is no set price for them.
Not easily available.

Final thoughts

This is one of the best things that has launched.
The colours, pigmentation, price, staying power etc is a perfect combination
Every woman needs to have at least one of these lip creams!
You get a best quality product for 150 - 200 Rs

Today, I will be talking about my love for Stationery!!

I have always loved it.
The cuter, the better lol. I'm always on the hunt for them but they are very difficult to find in India.

Either they are too expensive or low on quality, so basically It was always difficult for me to quench my thirst for some Cases,Books etc

And then I stumbled upon UtterClutterIndia, It is a one stop solution to all your needs!!

About Brand

A business that started off on a spur of the moment with small items,pretty enough to be put up in a girls bedroom.

Everyone fell in love with it so, the founder extended the collection as it brought a Pop of colour to the Home Environment!

1. Multipurpose Box

It is a small Metal Box which comes is different sizes.
It is a Multipurpose Box that can be used for a variety of purposes.
The lid comes in different designs and mine says "Buttons" in a stylish font.

This Box can be used in different ways...such as

Storing lip balms and carry the box in Handbag
Different Clips and Hair ties as I always lose them in my bag
Few chocolates to much on in leisure time.
Keep precious memories collected over the years etc and many other ways

2. Storage Buckets

Little Metal buckets which come in various colours and designs
These are my Absolute favourite as they serve for both storage and also for Decoration!!
Again these are Multipurpose units and can be used in number of ways.
I use them to store my most favourite lipsticks and have kept them in my vanity for easy access

Some other ways of using these Buckets are...

Storing smaller Makeup Brushes, Beauty blenders etc
Storing favourite Nail polishes so that they are available easily
Storing favourite set of earrings or most worn earrings
It can also be used to keep key-bunch and can be picked up in a hurry etc

3. Magnet Gem Clips

I have never seen a product like this!!
These are Gem clips but with a magnet at the 'head' part!
The gem clips come in different designs.

You can use it to

Stick your To-Do List of the day to your fridge using this Gem clip! Get productive in a fun loving way!!
You can also use these gem clips for holding set of paper and as a Bookmark!
All in all, I love this product! It is soo Innovative right?

4. Minion Key Chain

Minion merchandise is very "in trend" right now.
This Minion key chain is the answer and comes in different designs
It is of silicone material and is easily bend-able, so no need to worry about breakage.
I love this key chain and use it thorough!!

5. Minion Note Book

I always carry a note book with me, be it to jot down ideas or to keep track of assignments, a note book is a necessity!
So why not, add a little quirkiness and cuteness to this note-taking-thing?
The answer is variety of affordable notebooks!
I have been using this Minion notebook for noting down all my To-Do things and am Loving it!!

So you people have understood how much of a freak I'am!

Today I'm here to talk about Korean Skincare.

I always used to hear about it, how cute the packaging of the products are, how different they are compared conventional skincare products etc

But never got a chance to try them out as they are not easily available in India.

But not anymore, Skin18.com is a website that houses huge amount of Korean Skincare products which are so pretty, affordable and have products for all needs!!

Today I will be reviewing

I was very happy to find out such a place where there products for every single need, and you know how serious Koreans are about Skincare!! :D

Packaging

The packaging consists of a Yellow Packet with attractive graphic design.
The Back of the Packet has all the necessary instructions like, How to use, Ingredients etc
Inside the packet is a white mask filled with good amount of "special" liquid
The mask is soo wet that it will be dripping with "special" liquid, which is great!

My Experience

Even thought I had an idea about how effective Korean Skincare products are, I never expected this kind of an effect on my skin.
I never thought one mask could make such a difference in my skin
I wore the mask,It was wet with the special liquid so it stuck nicely on the face.
I left it on for 15 minutes. I was very tired when I put this on mask actually and was not taking care of my skin for a while now.
Since the mask is very wet, it hydrates the skin very well, it soothes the skin so so much.
It feels like a wet cloth on my face, but you can feel yourself relaxing.
When I removed the mask, I felt refreshed, skin was softer, smoother and Face was glowing!!

I highly recommend this face mask to every single person because it works like a gem!!

You get so much out of this one simple mask!!

Hack

if you find excess liquid dripping from the mask...collect it.
After using the mask once, don't throw it out.
Next time use the collected liquid and dip the mask in it and use the mask second time :D
